Glad that Baby Britton checked out okay from last week's ultrasound! I'm sorry you got the "sneak peek" at the goods, but I have to agree that better a healthy baby - girl or boy - than anything else. It was so good to see everyone on Saturday. We had such a wonderful time (and Nicole, tell your mom again how much I LOVED the chili!) and the photo of us three girls turned out great! I'll post as soon as I can download.
We got a free pass today for another week, which I couldn't be more thankful for! Looks like both the baby girl and the big man upstairs have agreed to wait a little bit longer.
The bio-physical profile (bpp) ultrasound was good. Fluid was great; baby girl practiced her breathing; heartbeat strong; etc. It was pretty quick too - just 10 minutes really. Audrey's getting to be an expert at these things. And interestingly enough, this time I actually DIDN'T get a picture of her girl parts. I think that's the first time in like 4 weeks! I'm doing great - bp down and protein absent. The NST also looked great. No concerns for letting me go today.
I'll be back to see Dr D for another NST (they'll be twice weekly now) on Friday and then the weekly ultrasound (BPP again) on Tuesday of next week with the NST after. Don't expect another growth check-in for a couple of weeks. Hopefully by that time we'll be looking at 35/36 weeks and we'll be showing a really good weight. I'll be honest that I'm still praying to hit 37 weeks, but since I don't get the final say in such matters, we'll have to wait and see.
